Kenyan black tea is known to have high levels of antioxidants. Antioxidants are nutrients that may slow down and even prevent damage to our bodies as they have disease fighting properties that protect cells from damage by substances called free radicals. The quality of black tea depends on the number of young leaves harvested, mode of harvesting and the care with which the green leaves are handled. Only the upper two young leaves and a bud are handpicked and skillfully processed.
Kericho Gold has a distinct bright color and aromatic flavor, due to the country's equatorial climate and rich volcanic soil. Kenyan tea is pesticide free.
